I build production systems at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, full-stack development, and machine learning. Currently a Masters student in Applied CS at VUB Brussels — previously shipping containerised software across four cloud platforms at Securiti.
I grew up in Islamabad — the kind of city that makes you ambitious by necessity. I studied Computer Science at FAST NUCES, one of Pakistan's most competitive CS programmes, and spent the year after graduation at Securiti as an Associate Software Development Engineer, working on containerised deployments across AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and OpenShift. I left in September 2025 to move to Brussels and pursue a Masters in Applied Computer Science at VUB, specialising in Digital Health.
I've led a mobile product from zero to launch at a healthcare startup, published research at an IEEE conference, run external affairs for a 150-person event team, and debugged production cloud issues that clients couldn't reproduce on their own machines. I'm most at home in problems that are actually hard — infrastructure that has to be reliable, products that have to work for real people, data that has to mean something.
Living abroad solo for the first time has changed how I think. Moving away from everyone you love to chase something teaches you pretty quickly what matters and what doesn't.
I'm also navigating Brussels on crutches right now, which turns out to be a surprisingly good way to slow down and notice things.
"Live deliberately" — two words my father said that changed how I look at everything, including the code I write.
